Competitions are not attended only by FIRST teams the crowds of spectators hold government officials and members of large engineering and technology firms. All believe in the mission of the Mechanical Bulls and FIRST: to open high school students to the opportunities and satisfaction offered in the fields of science and engineering. To thank our sponsors for their support and belief in this cause, we provide them with advertising on our team shirts and robot when we compete in competitions (some of which are broadcast nationally thanks to a partnership between FIRST and NASA).
